Beirut Style: Zaatar and Cumin Hummus
This is an amazing mix of the Middle Eastern spices added to the Lebanese style hummus. Zaatar is a spice that is used in every Middle Eastern kitchen which is a mixture of wild thyme, sesame seeds, oregano and sumac. The reason it is called Beirut style is because you will find hummus mixed with Zaatar in trendy bars and restaurants in Beirut but not likely anywhere else in the country.
